Works for Me Wednesday

So it's Wednesday again, so what is it that works for me?

Digital Scrapbooking. I only started in April and quickly realized it was the best thing that I could have found. With two little ones at home the paper stuff just wasn't happening - I would get it all out (took an hour) spend 2 hours - if I was lucky; then have to put it away (another hour). Sometimes I would be able to leave it out for a few days and get 10 pages done. Digital Scrapbooking takes me a minute to open the programs and get out my "paper" and about 2 minutes to close (so I can save everything).

In the first 3 1/2 years of my daughters life I couldn't even get her first year finished. I have in the last 6 months finished an entire year and am working on the next.

Here is one of my favorite layouts.

Try it out -- it might just work for you. Find out what works for others.

To see the rest of the pages that I have done check out this link: ScrapMatters Gallery or view most of them here on my blog.

Thanks for visiting our blog!

I used silicone mold from Target. They have some in the dollar section right now, but only at certain stores: snowmen, trees, and snowflakes. I think the flakes are hardest to find. They have big molds, too, if you want to make a cake. :) Hope you can find them! Thanks again!

I love the idea, and I've heard about digital scrapbooking, but how do you do it? Do you go to a site like Shutterfly and create layouts there? I'm totally with you on the hassle of lugging out all the scrapping supplies, only to have to put them away an hour or so later to get dinner ready :( Beautiful layout!

I would just like to echo Susan's questions. I've been intrigued with the idea of digital scrapbooking...I never do the "real" thing because of the time. Thanks for stopping by my blog BTW!

I hear you on not getting the paper stuff done... I'm playing a bit with digital scrapbooking this year in making my own photobooks for the grandparents. It is actually my WFMW post today over at: http://afrugalhousewife.com

I'm going to have to check into digital scrapbooking more so that maybe I can get my little girls baby book underway before I forget everything :)
