For OrgJunkie's Monthly Round-Up the focus was on the living room. Well our tree was in the living room all month so I had to wait until it came down! So here is a picture of what it looked like right after Christmas -- I had straightened it up for the picture, well not for the OrgJunkie picture but for the girls scrapbooks (one picture with all they got!). - (Dec. 25th)
Here it is with the "stuff" upstairs and the decorations off the tree. (Dec. 28th)
And here is what our living room looks like back to normal. -- We had moved the couches around to put the tree in front of the window. (Dec. 30th)
Not very exciting! There is a table in the corner there and we need a light on it -- I think that may just become a freecycle request! I also plan to put a picture above the love seat.

My update on Tackle it Tuesday and what I was able to do from my list...
Target - purchase cubbies (new organization project!) -- decided we didn't like the idea so we left
Payless Shoe Source - new shoes for Rachel (didn't do but we decided not to get new ones)
Clean out work bag
Freeze a big bag of motzerella cheese into smaller bags
Make jello
I also got done the following:
Ordered Understanding Exposure & Home Storage Cook Book
Posted two books on Paperback book swap
Got the mail (we don't do that to often!) and have even gone through and sent most of it into the recycling bin already. Catalogs gone through and then tossed.
Wal-Mart (to get a 4' tree for next year -- for the family room)
Trader Joe's - to get Sweet Chili Sauce (which they were out of) this is so so good over cream cheese served with crackers -- what I was going to bring to work tomorrow.
Sent my mom and her hubby an anniversary card (ok an e-card - scheduled for Thursday).
Here is the picture of the kitchen all cleaned up!!!

Great job! I'm so impressed with your to-do list and all the things that you got done!
You did accomplish a lot. I long for an entire day to myself to get some serious things crossed off my to do list.
I am a junkie of OrgJunkie and followed your link -- great job on getting things done!! Quick question - we have kitchen cabinets like yours, what is your paint color in your kitchen?? I need to paint but can't find just the right beige...
thanks!!
You did a great job with your list. I am afraid that I haven't been as industrious lately. I am hoping to change that. No excuses, just busy!
wow cool..you freeze cheese? in chunks or in shreds? how does it do?
Mellow Momma -
Tried to post this to your blog but couldn't get it to work.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. When we moved in the house was already painted (each room is different). I had to find the paper they left us with the paint colors! So it says on this paper (paper towel!) that it is Dry Earth - Semigloss. It also says all paint was purchased at Lowe's.
