The Saturday after Thanksgiving is when they do the lighting of Temple Hill. I made sure to take the day off so we could see it. We almost skipped it as I was in a bad mood that day and totally not in the Christmas spirit. I thought it started at 6:30 and we ran to IKEA first, we ended up missing most of the dance which 2 girls (maybe more) were in, that was a bit of a disappointment. Then we went to the visitor center - Rebecca LOVES to go there.
We listed to the Christus presentation and the sister missionary asked the question about how does it make you feel to listen to the presentation and just sit here in front of the Christus. Rebecca proudly spoke up and said... "I feel like I am in heaven." She has such a sweet spirit. Sucking up my bad mood and going was all worth it to hear her say that.
