We celebrated Mimi's 85th birthday on the 21st, it was an amazing dinner at my aunt Sarah's house. I enjoyed a little tiny bit of everything I wanted. I did skip the cake as I really don't have the desire to have it but had a couple pieces of beef tenderloin, carrots, scallop potatoes and salad (meaning 2 bites of each really).
Check out these cakes she had. That is chocolate around the edge and the flowers on top are chocolate as well. The other has chocolate too. I resisted the temptation and did not have any, not even a tiny bite. But I heard from everyone that they tasted great.
We had a great time and the girls were sound asleep when we got home. It was a good start to a week off with them home for Thanksgiving.
Sarah - not sure if you read my blog but I will be mailing all the pictures to you on the disk.
