Tackle it Tuesday

I know this is pretty late (oops.. it just turned 12:02a) as I was typing so officially not Tuesday still but wanted to post what I did (and didn't do).

Last week I said I wanted to get the books & movies in order, the playroom closet organized and the kitchen counter cleaned off. Well 1.5 out of 3 is not to bad. Pictures below show you what I mean!

Here is what the playroom looked like this morning -- not bad if you ask me, it has been a week since I cleaned it and things are still pretty much away. I must have taken enough toys out!

What an AWFUL picture. You can see that I did work on this - the books on the lower two shelves are organized again. The movies are sorted back out - I need to empty out the Compaq box (full of puzzles and games) and work on the upper 3 shelves.

And... the closet (no picture) has not changed.

The kitchen counter:

For the most part it is done. There is a box that needs to be converted to a mini 72 hr kit for Adam's car (the emergency box - diapers, snacks, waters, mini meals etc.) which  I keep meaning to do - so there ... my tackle for two weeks from now. No tackles for next week will be posted - we will be tackling driving home from Disneyland.
