This week has just flown by! Here are the plans for this next week.
Breakfasts: Smoothie, Oatmeal, Cold Cereal, Toast - from homemade bread, Yogurt with Granola
Sunday - Meatloaf with potatoes (at moms)
Monday - Chicken & Rice
Tuesday - Out to Mimi's Cafe (we have a free appetizer coupon from a Blood Drive for an Eagle Scout project)
Wednesday - Pork Chops, had to many left overs from last week so we didn't get to these will have mashed potatoes, applesauce and a frozen vegetable
Thursday - Chicken Enchiladas with Spanish Rice & Salad
Friday - Taco Pie
Saturday - BBQ Chicken with Baked Beans (these are GREAT beans - I usually do in the crock pot over night).
Sunday Brunch - French Toast stuffed with fruit and cream cheese
Sunday Dinner - Feeding the Missionaries - Roast in the crockpot with rolls (watch for the roll post during the week)
This past week we tried the Pizza Braid. Here is a picture of it before it was cooked.
It was good -- but I didn't roll the dough out enough - it was too thick and therefore was a little doughy but I wasn't told to throw the recipe away so that is a good sign!
This week I tried two new recipes, usually a no no but I knew this next one would be a winner! We tried the Porcupine Meatballs - a one dish meal really. We just had salad to go with it.
