A Week of Thanks

Julie over at Living on Less put out a challenge to blog each day this week something to be thankful for.

Today I am most thankful for the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is such a blessing to know what is true and right. I am grateful for the members of our ward and the outpouring of love, support and prayers these last two weeks. We are so blessed to have our ward family (as well as our "real" family). Another blessing is the temple and knowing that our family is sealed together forever. I know that our entire family will be together someday, which gives me SO much peace and comfort right now. I truly am grateful for the love our Savior has for us and the sacrifices he made. The holiday season is upon us and I truly want to keep the true meaning of Christmas at the forefront of our minds.
What are you thankful for on this 3rd day of the week of Thanksgiving?

Hi, I am answering your question about my granite slab. I got it from a guy who worked in a granite shop. He made it out of countertop leftovers. I don't know what's available in your area, but you could check with a counter store and ask what they do with remnants. Also, Home Depot or some other hardware place that sells tile might sell 18" granite tiles and you could have it cut to size. Good luck!
