Sweet Potatoe Casserole

INGREDIENTS
1 large can sweet potatoes - mashed
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
TOPPING
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour

DIRECTIONS
1. Mix together sweet potatoes, white sugar, 1/2 cup butter or margarine, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Spread into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
2. Mix together 1/3 cup melted butter or margarine, pecans, brown sugar, and flour.
3. Spread on top of sweet potato mixture.
4. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30-40 minutes.

I usually double the topping part of the recipe when I put in a 9x13 pan if I use a smaller casserole sized pan I leave it the same (since it gets so spread out in the larger pan it just needs more "sugar"!
