Skiing

So about a month ago I learned how to ski. I might not remember much by next year when we go again, but I should be able to figure it out!  Here are some pictures {ok many} of the first day of our trip.

At the hotel in Pollock Pines... we woke up to this!

Then we drove up to Sierra at Tahoe, dropped off the girls...

Then I went and got my ski stuff.

I had my lesson and then took my boots off for lunch - they HURT my shins. I happened to catch the girls out doing their afternoon lessons.

She doesn't know how to stop {kind of important} but there she is... skiing!

 
And that is how they stop... when the get to the green carpet.

She has also not learned to stop with the "pizza" the lady with the orange pad catches her!

This is the hill that Iearned on the top left of the picture is the top of the ski lift. In the class I just used the conveyor belts.
