Menu Plan Monday (and 227/365)

Again.. where is the year going?  This past week I was sick and so the menu didn't go exactly as planned. I wasn't in any mood to be cooking so what can you do but eat out!  It was only one night that we ate out and then some rearranged - not too bad.

So for this week:

Sunday - (we actually cooked here and had Nana, Maw, Paw and Cheyenne over) - Pork Ribs, Potato Salad, Baked Beans and Broccoli Salad with rolls (paw brought the potato salad and the rolls).

Monday - Leftovers (the ribs and fixins')

Tuesday - Ground Turkey Burritos with lettuce, tomato (from the garden!!), olives on whole wheat tortilla

Wednesday - Panda Express ... fundraiser for school (we are such suckers for fundraisers!)

Thursday - Chicken Cordon Bleu with Baked potato and Salad

Friday - Chicka-cotti with Alfredo sauce, and broccoli

Saturday - Hamburgers with Steak Fries, Corn on the Cob (fresh), and a salad

Other menu plans available at OrgJunkie

Enjoy your week. I am feeling better so this week will hopefully go smoothly. We have parent teacher conference on Thursday as well as a meeting at work. A busy busy week coming up!

Here is a layout I did of Rachel using Chelle's Creations new You Define Me:Love available at ScrapMatters.

Here is a preview of it:

And here is what I created with it:

Journaling reads:

Some days you just really make me love being a mommy, today was one of them. Your head resting on my chest, content as could be throughout sacrament, whispering into my ear - "my mommy" over and over again. Then an occasional “love you” would come out, and in between you would give me kisses - on the cheek, neck, lips... heaven true heaven. Being your mommy when you are so sweet, is unforgetable. The moments I don’t ever want to forget are these. Before long you wont want to sit in my lap until then I will cherish these moments.

We had chicken cordon bleu on our menu last week but didn't get to it. It's a dish we really enjoy! Thanks for your recipe link.
