JOURNALING:
Finishing up the weekend of camping by spending Sunday afternoon with Grandma and Papa Brent meant not only that the girls got to see them but also play outside with the chickens and ducks. It was alot for Kayla to take in but I think it really helped hear fear of dogs. Before going to Grandma’s the girls played with Cierra at her trailer and at the park. I had to go to work when we got home Monday - and dad played nail shoppe with the girls. Adam is always so creative with the patterns he does for them. We probably have heard Rachel say 10 times this week that she got her nails and toe nails painted - she really loves it. Thursday I went to a training up in Sacramento for Shelf Reliance and I took bell pepper biscuits with me - they were really very good, everyone liked them. Wednesday & Friday the girls and Adam went hiking up to Black Diamond Mines and into the foothills. The girls LOVED it (which is why they went back on Friday) - we will be planning a family hike up there soon. Saturday Rebecca went to World Thinking Day and her troop had a booth about India - they had Naan bread & mango chutney to share with the other scouts. Rachel stayed home with me - she wanted to make strawberry cupcakes - we made them 100% THRIVE - and they were really yummy. Adam went riding in the afternoon and his bike turned to 16,000 miles. Saturday evening we went to the ward Spaghetti Dinner & YW dessert auction (we didn’t win a single thing!)
