Wow {exercising} moments

I pushed myself at the gym on Friday and again on Monday!!

For not wanting to go on Friday - I did awesome.

I did 30 min of turbo kick boxing.... I am so uncoordinated - and was way off with each move but i kept going until 30 minutes into the class she says ok now lets pick up the pace!!! Ummm - what I heard was Krisi - exit the classroom in the back!

But I went out to the treadmill. I need to work on training for a 5k, the year is almost 1/2 over. I did a mile - in 16:12. Not impressive to some but it was Jr high (or earlier) that I did a mile that fast.




Jump ahead to Monday where I did my warm up and then strength training. Adam challenged me to do the mile in less that 15 minutes - challenge on. Then Charice was there and I talked her into jogging with me - see who could do it faster. Well I did a mile in 13:45!!!!! I didn't get a picture - I was bummed! I was wiped out after!

So some WOW moments I have had related to exercising....

My heart rate returns to high resting - much quicker.

Lift leg to stretch quads- so much easier now!

Jumping jacks - did a bunch in the kick boxing class!

Jump rope - well not for real but the same motion!

Ran at 6.0mph for a sprint to finish my mile on Friday and did it a few times in my mile on Monday.

Ran at 5.0 and 5.2 for a minute stretch at a time. Before the fastest I ran was 4.5mph

Today (Tuesday). I didn't feel like running at all but I did do my 30 of cardio and 30 of strength training.
