The next day we went to the Folsom Aquatic Center - it was SO much fun. The kids LOVED it. We went with Frankie, Wade, Aiden & Donovan.

Rachel has been hating baths lately but loved getting all wet at the park. She must have gone down that orange slide 25 times!

Rebecca showed off her swimming skills and even went off the diving board and the bigger kid slides. She wasn't tall enough to go down the BIG slide.

Just relaxing

Rachel loves to wear daddy's glasses.

Rebecca got jipped out of pictures as she was in the water the whole time and I would only take the camera so far in the water!

Cooking some rolls over the fire to go with our Tin Foil Stew (just ground beef, potatoes, carrots, celery and onion with what ever spices you want all wrapped in tin foil and cooked over the fire).

We had this great hill in our site that the kids would race down, Rachel LOVED the trill of being pushed down the hill. They definately had fun.

The squirrels were NOT afraid to take what they wanted. This one was on our table!

This day was about 107 at the highest!

IMG_0554
We took a "train ride" on the regional transit light rail with all the kids - they had a blast and the A/C was a great relief.

All the kids cooking rolls on LONG skewers. We had london broil that was so good along with zucchini.

We celebrated Donovan's birthday afterwards with cupcakes.

IMG_0741
The next morning (the day we left) we had s'mores for breakfast - the kids thought that was the best thing in the world!

This was by far one of the best sites in the park - this picture is taken around 10:30 am but 75% was covered in shade all day long. It was nice and big and didn't back right up to any other spots.

Have a great week.
