A couple people have asked what exactly do I eat? So here is a sample menu (from the past week ... since each week it can change a little).
Breakfast (~ 3.6g protein)
1/8c greek yogurt
1/8c dannon light - key lime
Mix the two together.
Lunch (~8.5g protein)
Thin sliced chicken or turkey lunchmeat (1-1.5 oz -- usually closer to 1)
1/2 string cheese stick
Snack (some days) (~ 4g protein)
1/2 string cheese stick
Dinner (~8.8g protein)
Chicken breast (1 oz) -- had this most of last week as we went to Red Robin on Wednesday and it took until Saturday to eat the breast that I got. I dipped it in a balsamic vinegar spread and a couple tomatoes (a bruschetta came with it)
Evening "snack/drink" (~19-23g protein)
Premier Protein Hot Cocoa (7-9 oz)
Torani SF syrup
Other items I might have
*Dry roasted edamame - 15g (1/8 c.) 7g protein
*Peanut butter - right off the spoon think that was about 7g protein (but lots of fat!)
*Chicken salad (made with a little 1/2 tsp. mayo and 1tbl. greek yogurt) and a few celery pieces and onion pieces from THRIVE - from Shelf Reliance
*Navy Bean and Ham soup (1/2c portion) ~8g protein -- maybe more?
*Wendy's Chili (1/2c portion) ~8g protein
*Lentil Soup - canned from Trader Joe's - ate this early on (1/4-1/2c) ~4-6g protein
I think that might be it.
Not a great picture - but here I am at 4 weeks. We will be doing new photos this week for 5 weeks as these ones didn't turn out so great.
