hmmm... such a slacker

Seriously the last time I posted was 3+ weeks ago!  Yikes. Here is an update about September so far.

Happy Friday... I am excited to get away for the weekend for some spiritual uplifting. A group of girls from church are headed to Sacramento for Time Out for Women. I should say I will report back but you all know better it probably won't happen... so don't hold your breath waiting for it!

Rachel is able to hop on one foot.

Rebecca is seriously getting bossy {we are working on this}

My mom, Brent, Dustin and Lisa came over today to celebrate my mom's birthday {HAPPY BIRTHDAY mom!}

Rachel recognizes the letter 'R' now.

Both girls love art. Think they take after me!

Rebecca is really adapting to 1st grade - thank goodness.

I am now designing fonts as well as hybrid templates, so if you ever wanted to have your handwriting turned into a font - let me know. It is $10.

We all went to the drive in and saw Nanny McPhee Returns. Kinda cute (but it got cold and we were not prepared for that so we ended up getting in the car to watch.

Rachel went to her speech therapy evaluation and we go back next Friday to find out what they think she may or may not need.

I made an ice cream cake... took two days to do it but it sure is yummy... look out Baskin Robbins here I come!

Adam is loving this great weather and taking every chance he can to ride his motorcycle.

I am loving being able to be home more with the girls and at work less. I am now officially at home more days than I am at work!!!!

A few pictures to share!

{I know she totally does not match... but did I remind you she is 5 and knows all! Besides who was going to see her in the dark anyway. If I think it will embarrass me then I make her change!}

No pictures to share of me. The only ones taken of me are not internet ok... this is a family blog! {not what you are thinking}

I guess I should explain. I had to wear a holter monitor to look at my heart rhythm for 48 hours (I had some episodes of lightheadedness). I made it to about 26 when I had to take it off because I discovered I have an allergy to adhesive tape. The monitor was all across my chest and stomach so we took some pictures of it - good thing most of the redness went away within 24 hours and on 2 areas remain red -- a week later!

That is it for this month so far. I will try to work on August soon!
