Happy Birthday!

 

I can't believe the day is here! My little girl is 5 now! She acts like a five year old, then she can act like a 2 year old and minutes later act like a (dare I say it) 7 year old.

Rebecca - I love you! There are times that you make me so mad... and others that have me floating on cloud nine. And they can happen within minutes of each other.

Tonight when you were saying the prayer you prayed for mommy as I went out to be "a missionary". I was going to do my visit teaching and you just knew it was important that mommy go do it. I appreciated the blessing and your support. These moments bring tears of joy to my eyes.

When you write on things you shouldn't (ie walls, recliners, tables) I get really mad that you would do such a thing.

I love you all the time, some days I just show you more than others.

 
How could you have been so small?

I love cuddling and being with you. Holding you tight and knowing you are mine (and daddy's!). When you were this small I thought the crying would never end - and in some ways it hasn't - but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Standing tall!

I love when you give lots of hugs and kisses, especially when it is to wake me up. I love the squeezes around the neck and when you would grab hold of my leg and not want to let go.

 
Cute as can be!

I love your big blue eyes that sparkle with joy and excitement. I love your smile and cuteness that explodes from you.

Sassy chic!

I love when you help mommy around the house, when I haven't asked. I love it when you make your bed (and I love it even more when you make our bed too).

 
Getting so big!

I love your sense of adventure, you are willing to try anything and do anything. I love this even more when it means you are picking up a bug that you just killed, because mommy hates bugs.

5 and proud of it!

I love that you are a Child of God and that you know it. You are a fabulous little girl with a spirit so strong. I hope that your spirit only gets stronger as the days, weeks, months and years go by.
