RE: Pasta e Fagioli

Stacy what a great challenge this was. Not only was it fun – but the soup was EXCELLENT! I am going to freeze half of it so I did not mix in the pasta in the pot – just kind of put the pasta in the bowl and then put the soup over and mixed them in. Rachel got lots of pasta in hers, and she ate everything up. Even Rebecca (who has been on a kick of not eating much) ate hers and said she loved it! I won't repost the recipe here -- just look down to this post. The one thing I changed was I only used 1/8 cup of olive oil instead of 1/4 cup -- I just couldn't pour that much oil in my soup!

Here are the beans right after I put the water on them.

Cooking the pasta -- I kept this seperate as I plan on freezing some of the soup and didn't want the pasta to be frozen.
