Happy Mother's Day (to me and to you!)

Well, I knew one day it would happen – she would get ahold of a pair of scissors and cut her hair. I NEVER EVER EVER thought she would cut this much hair, the back is still long but as you can see the little pony on top is cut pretty short as well as the side hair. When asked what she was thinking when she did it, her response, “I wanted it short like Cheyenne’s”.  Well let’s just say it will now be A LOT shorter than Cheyenne’s! We will go to Lollipop’s tomorrow and get her a new hairdo. Will send another picture during the week of what it looks like.

This was around 5pm today then around 7pm I go to the garage to get a little cool whip out of the freezer and find out the freezer has been open 1-2” since Friday afternoon when I last took something out of it. AHHHHH! So we spent the evening cooking everything that was still cold/frosty and threw away the rest. We took a big bag of cooked meat over to the missionaries – they were very thankful. We have food ready and cooked for the rest of the early part of the week, and I made a big batch of chicken soup with a little bit of noodles and LOTS of veggies (4-1lb bag fuls!), that is in the freezer now. We also made some smoothies and put that back in the freezer as well.

What a night this Mother’s Day turned out to be! Hope everyone else had a wonderful Mother’s Day!
